My Voice AI
Nofence have created the world’s first virtual fence system for grazing animals. The system consists of a solar-powered GPS collar and an app. A digital boundary is transferred to the animal's collar. If an animal crosses the nofence boundary and enters the warning zone, the collar starts beeping to warn the animal that it will receive an electric shock. Animals soon learn what the signals from the collar mean, and turn back to avoid the electric shock. This ensures that the animals always stay within the defined boundary – just as they do with electric fences – the only difference is that the virtual fence has an audible warning instead of a visual warning. The virtual fence can easily be adjusted, giving animals access to new areas. With AI we turn big data to actionable insights.
Diabetes is the leading cause of blindness among working age adults. If detected early, the treatment is effective, but the challenge is the patient doesn´t notice vision loss, and when noticed it´s often too late save save the sight.
Oivi develops an intelligent camera which automates image capture and performs diagnostics on the device through embedded machine learning. Deployed in primary care, allowing for early warning of retinal disease, so early treatment can be given, preventing blindness.

Picterus is launching an app that can screen for jaundice in newborns of all skin types. Jaundice causes more than 100,000 deaths and give more than 60,000 children permanent brain damage annually. If identified in the early stages the condition is easily treatable with phototherapy. Picterus' goal is therefore to transform the management of jaundice globally with the worlds first cheap and accurate screening tool, thereby saving thousands of lives each year.

RESPINOR AS, is a Norwegian medical device company developing a breakthrough technology within respiratory care. The company was founded in 2015. RESPINOR is developing an objective measure of breathing for critically ill patients within intensive care. The technology provides practitioners with precise continuous and real-time information of the diaphragm function, to increase quality of care and reducing costs.
RESPINOR DXT (Diaphragm Excursion Technology) consists of two disposable sensors that we attach to the body, and a separate monitor. We use patented ultrasound to monitor the movement of the diaphragm, our main breathing muscle, using the liver as a proxy. We translate the diaphragm movement into readable signal, like with an ECG.
Sevendof is building the drone infrastructure of the future. Our goal is to provide a complete drone abstraction which enables our users to accomplish physical tasks purely through a software interface. We accomplish this through building long-range drones which operate from a distributed set of drone stations. Our global autonomy running in the cloud takes mission descriptions submitted by users and schedules flights to be performed. Our local autonomy running on each drone is then responsible for safely executing the given flight plan, while respecting a set of constraints and the environment as observed during flight. Sevendof will continuously develop and operate a growing network of drones in order to provide strong network advantages.

We digitize the snow. SKNOW is a disruptive snow monitoring system that aims to reduce the amount of avalanche accidents and deaths, while improving knowledge and sharing about the snowpack. SKNOW is a ski mounted hardware device and a web/app platform. The SKNOW device attaches to the ski, reads the snow layers, GPS position and skier´s performance metrics. The skier is alerted on the device if a weak snow layer is detected. The app uses the device’s data to offer more detailed snow information in real time. The app/platform also offers crowdsourced snow data, GPS routes and trip suggestions. By using advanced signal processing and machine learning methods we are able to assess the snow conditions and offer more accurate and up-to-data avalanche risk maps for safer ski touring.
Vake automatically detects dark ships in satellite images. Ships that turn their AIS (ship tracking system) off commonly do so because they want to perform some illicit activity, such as illegal fishing, smuggling or covert military operations. With multispectral satellite images it is possible to apply deep neural networks to automatically detect and classify ships, ship sizes and direction, including dark vessels.
Vake will help:
- Create and independent control of the AIS
- Identify hotspots for dark vessels
- Identify areas exposed to spoofing attacks - as AIS is GPS-based, matching erroneous, spoofed AIS messages with the true location of the same vessels found in satellite images

Prior to her time in the financial industry she has spent the majority of her time in the Telco space. Her last assignment with Telenor as their head of Global Partnerships, gave her the opportunity to work, live and learn from everything moving in Asia. Her experience from running several corporate startups will be a valuable addition to our Corporate Partner team.
